Happy Birthday card

It has been a while since I last posted BUT here is one of the cards that I have recently finished AND gave away! I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE this card ... the set is Stampin Up and silly me, I can't remember the name of the set. LOL ... I just love the way it turned out ... and even better ... the wonderful woman I gave it to totally LOVED it!!

~Team B~ Challenge

WOW! Feels like Arctic temperatures here in Pennsylvania... and through out most of the Eastern half of the USA! *brrr!* LOL

I am going to have Team B do a project that is similar to Team A's.... I won't normally do this (so don't "assume" that they will always be the same!) but this one time.... just this once.... we are going to have Team B do the same thing as Team A!

So, you need to use the colors, "Red" "White" and "Pink".... You will need to alter something (and it can be anything!).... You will also need to have the word "love" on it some where!

Be Creative! And don't forget to use your Cricut!!!!
These will be due on 1.24.10

~Team A~ Challenge!!! : )

It feels great to be back and fully charged! I'm looking forward to seeing all of your beautiful creations! Don't forget that you MUST use your Cricut on each challenge!

We are going to start with an altered project.... The theme for is will be "LOVE".... and it should be done in reds and pinks and white! The word "LOVE" needs to be included somewhere on your project! I have included a few pics of some ADORABLE altered items - however, you can alter anything you choose! Just make sure you follow the rules! : )

~ Team C ~ Challenge!!

First, let me start by saying that I know there is someone else that wanted to be part of Team C - but I can't remember who it was! I am so sorry.... I thought I wrote it down but if I did I can't find it! Just send me an email or comment on this post and I will add you to the list!

**Attention ALL DT MEMBERS...**

I am so fortunate to work with all of you wonderful people! Each of you have brought something unique to this DT.... but I have a question for you...... NO... the DT is not "falling apart"! Not even close! What I want to know from you is if you would like to take a break for the month of December.... In the last 6 wks I have gotten several emails from many of the DT members... they are dealing with personal issues, illnesses, new babies, family stuff... etc....... and I truly believe that FAMILY COMES FIRST! I wouldn't have it any other way!

So with that said, when you look at the last couple of challenges (for each team) you can clearly see that we are missing the majority of our DT Members.... The purpose of our DT is to challenge each of you creatively.... and with so much going on due to the holidays alone... top that with all the issues that the majority of the DT is dealing with..... well, that just makes me think that we need to take a break....... just till the first full wk in January.......

So please...... let me know what you think..... I won't be offended in any way, shape or form.... I just don't want to you to feel stressed! : )

Team B ~ Challenge

Ok so I'm a week behind schedule and it's getting harder and harder to get caught back up! LOL I do apologize for my absense last week...... I just had too much going on.

So here is your second challenge...... you will need to make a Christmas Card.... incorporate a Christmas Wreath (made with your Cricut!) either by putting it ON the card or making the card itself wreath shaped...

now I know you have a week to do this before your next due date - but I'm confident that you can do this! : ) So Team B - your project is due December 6th!

TEAM B 1st November Challenge

Here are both sides. I did team A's challenge and team B's as well. I made them to work together as a double layout. The best friend (forgot to make the "s" to make it friends) is team A's sketch, the forever side is team B's sketch.

LOL Hello! I was just finishing up some things here at work when it hit me that I didn't post the next challenge yesterday!!! I am SOOO sorry! I hate it when work interfers with my creative life! LOL

Anywhoooo...... here's the next challenge...........

Using the Christmas Tree of your choice (from any cart you have!) we are going to create a WHITE-ON-WHITE Christmas Card! If you do not have a cart that has a Christmas tree - then you will need to design and create one to use! Use various shades of WHITE to create your card! Don't be afraid to texturize your paper (Cuttlebug it or use pre-textured)....... you can also incorporate white buttons, white beads, white ribbon....... anything that is any shade of WHITE! NO OTHER COLORS!

This is due Sunday, November 29th!

Honestly, it's not as difficult as you may think!

You can make it ROUND.... FLOWER SHAPED.... SQUARE.... any shape you want!

Decorate it for any occasion using any Cricut cart you have!

Anyone need any SU products?

I'm having a workshop on Nov. 15th, does anyone need anything? This is my first one, can you imagine? I will get into this card making thing one way or the other. SU cards are so pretty, at least what I've seen. And I just love their products.

**Celebration Challenge #3**

What would a Celebration be without CUPCAKES?!

That's right! I said CUPCAKES!!!

Your third challenge is to create a card or a LO

Now, I know that several of you used a cupcake for the #2 challenge....
I couldn't help but laugh since I already had this challenge set-up to use a CUPCAKE!
So that means.... you have to stretch your creative minds a little further and
come up with another CUPCAKE creation!!! : )

Wrong Blog

I don't know if some of you caught my post earlier. I just wanted to say sorry! I posted one of my challenges here instead of my personal blog (see what kind of morning I'm having) Anyway, the post was deleted and I posted it on my blog!! I guess from now on I need to pay better attention!!!

** Good Question! **

All of us, at some point, run into a creative-block-wall..... you can't come up with any creative ideas for what you want to do.... nothing seems to look right when we put it together.... or my favorite, I'll go into my scrap room and sit down at my table and just stare at everything because nothing is coming to mind.....

it's frustrating, to say the least!

**WE ALL GO THRU THIS!!! **

So here's the question I got.....

"Where do you go for creative inspiration when you've hit the block-wall?"

For me personally.... I have binders (& more binders! LOL) of sketches, stacks of magazines, photos of previous work, the internet..... all of these are things I turn to when I've gotten into this non-creative funk! Sometimes, I have to look thru stuff several times before anything really jumps out at me or inspires me! There are also times when absolutely nothing inspires me and I just have to walk away... it may be for a few hours or it may be for a few days.

The key is to not let it discourage you! It will come back!!! I promise! LOL

This is an excellent question and we would like for the rest of you to share what you do in this situation!

Where is everyone from in our DT group? I just realized that someone is also from PA. I'm from just outside State College, PA.
